Spending time in the factory
As the factory is really busy and we are struggling with our stock holding, I have been spending more time in the factory on the production lines.
So far, since November 25 I’ve worked on packing cotton products, packing Compressed Bales, shredding flakes and strips, using the forktruck (I do have a licence!), learning to use the bandsaw as well as packing and shredding recycled paper products!
It has given me an insight into working the products, possible improvements for the environment, manual handling as well as who can do what! Here is a video of the compressed bales coming out of the machine which was my view for a few hours last week! Enjoy!
