Parking Issue

We have enjoyed a 40 year business relationship with The Talk nightclub in Norwich for car parking.  It has always proven to be very convenient for us being just across the road and the cost has been reasonable for the business.

However, just before the Easter weekend the empty building caught fire and as you can see from the photos below, the roof was significantly damaged.  The fire service did a great job of saving the building from complete collapse but this did result in the asbestos roof being damaged.  As such the carpark has now been closed, meaning that we have no parking in place.

We are of course sorry to see this for the owners of the property and hope that the building can still be developed as was progressing before this fire.

Although this isn’t a critical issue for the business, it does create some logistical issues when we have 40 foot lorries coming onto the forecourt for collections and deliveries.  At this point, we have to move all of the cars off whilst lorries are loaded or unloaded and then move them all back on again afterwards!

We continue our search for cost effective car parking within short walking distance for 4 cars!!
