It’s the end of an Era

On 31st August 2024 was officially the last day of employment for a long standing employee of Norfolk Industries.  Julie Ames has been the front ‘face’ of Norfolk Industries for over 40 years which is an incredible achievement.

Over the years, Julie has seen several threats of closure, lots of change and 5 different managers over this time, but has always provided a reliable and empathetic service to both our commercial and service delivery customers.

Julie came into the office on Thursday 5th September, to enable us all to say goodbye officially and we hopefully we gave her a send off that she enjoyed and will remember!  This included deco rations, cake, presents, stories from the past, a soundtrack of Dolly Parton’s 9 to 5 upon arrival and Hit the Road Jack upon leaving!  Ohhhh, and we ensured that she took away all of the balloons that we had put up for her too!
