Busy, busy!

On Wednesday 10th December we have enough people in the factory to run all 5 production lines at the same time, which is quite unusual.

It was very welcome though, as we are very busy getting orders out before Christmas.  Orders continue to flow in with required delivery dates before Christmas and although we would normally have stocks to pull from, at this point we have very little stock, so we are generating product to order.

It’s not ideal as we don’t like to put people under pressure to generate work to order, but it is where we are and we continue to meet all of the orders at this time.  It has meant that Sharon has been in the factory too, filling, sealing, packing, shredding and even doing some forktruck work!

Obviously, we really do appreciate our customers loyalty and meeting their requirements has to be our priority at all times, so our team meeting has been put off for now as well as some training.  It is great to be busy, but I think that we will all enjoy our Christmas shutdown when it gets here!
